What we do

Fix the real cause of mould

Size the fan right. Duct it properly.

Most mould problems come from fans that are too weak, not ducted to outside, or never turn on. We pick the right fan for your room size, run it to the nearest outside wall or soffit, and set the humidistat correctly.

  • Bathroom fans sized to room
  • Kitchen hood fans and cooker hoods
  • Through-wall or ducted to soffit
  • Humidity and timer controls
  • Quiet run, low energy

NICEIC ventilation qualified. Trusted by housing associations.

We hold the NICEIC ventilation qualification, which means we are formally certified to design, install and commission domestic ventilation systems to current Building Regulations. We currently work under contract with local housing associations installing around 100 fans a year in kitchens and bathrooms across their housing stock.

  • NICEIC ventilation qualified installers
  • Approx. 100 fans per year for housing associations
  • Kitchen and bathroom extract installations
  • Compliant with Building Regulations Part F
  • Commissioning sheets and certificates issued

Bathroom fans

Inline or axial, vented properly to outside. Quiet on, quiet off.

Kitchen fans

Hood extracts and dedicated kitchen fans. Grease friendly filters and ducts.

Humidistat

Fan turns on when the humidity rises. No thinking about it.

Quiet fans

Sub 25 dB fans so the bathroom fan does not wake the kids.

Proper ducting

Rigid ducting where possible. No crushed flexi hose in the loft.

Whole-house MVHR

Continuous ventilation for newer and well-insulated homes.

John is ventilation-course qualified

Our lead electrician completed full ventilation training. It means your fan is specified and installed the way the manufacturer intended, not just bolted in.

FAQs

Common questions

Usually one of three things. Wrong size for the room, ducting kinked or too long, or the humidistat not set right. We check all three.

Yes. Soffit vents are tidier than wall vents and work well. We use rigid duct with insulation to stop condensation in the loft.

A replacement fan in the same hole is under an hour. A new install with ducting to outside is half a day.

Bathroom fans in zone 1 or 2 are notifiable. We handle the notification for you as part of the install.
